I thought the set design on Avatar was amazing, but so much of it was CG, are they allowed to count that?

Hi Patty - it's a good question. Actually, the award is Art Direction (my post title is actually incorrect). The Art Director and Set Decorator share the award. So, to the extent that the Art Director created the overall look and I guess is in charge of the CG people, it makes sense?
